Rev. Phil Blair – Senior Pastor
(Bachelor of Ministries, Grad Christian Ministries., Adv. Dip Business)
Whilst his early training and experience was in Management & Marketing, the combination of Phil’s faith and his care & concern for others led him into theological study and pastoral ministry, where he has the privilege of helping people find hope and direction in life. He’s had the pleasure of leading the staff team at Green Point Baptist Church since 2009.
Phil is married to Sharon, and they have two growing boys in school, Joshua and Owen. He enjoys watching and playing just about every sport under the sun, loves running to stay fit, and is currently undertaking a Master of Arts (Theology) in his spare time.
Rev. Will Richards – Pastor (Youth & Young Adults)
(Cert IV Christian Ministry, Bachelor of Ministries, Morling College Fourth Year Certificate)
Will grew up in the North end of Sydney and originally planned to be a paramedic. Whilst taking a gap year to do Morling College’s PLUNGE program, he felt God calling him in a different direction. Five years of theological training later and Will moved to the Central Coast in 2013 to join the GPBC pastoral team. Will is passionate about seeing young people’s lives transformed by the power of the gospel of Jesus. He’s a tragic Essendon Bombers fan and loves to play soccer. In 2015 he married Eva, and the pair can often be spotted walking the dunes of Avoca Beach with their two dogs.
Louise Eccleston – Pastor (Children & Families)
(Bachelor of Teaching, GradDip Divinity)
After studying as a Primary School Teacher and teaching for a number of years Louise felt a strong call from God to work with children through the church and community. After working as the Families Pastor at Community Life Church Cherrybrook for 10 years, Louise started her role here at Green Point Baptist 2 years ago as the Children and Families Pastor. She sees the need for engaging kids programs and for the children in the church community to have a sense of belonging, as well as encouraging families to be nurturing their children spiritually. Louise is married to Matt and they have 4 children – Holly, Ben, Annabelle and Poppy-Jean. Since moving to Green Point, Louise and her family have enjoyed discovering the Central Coast’s beaches and bush walks.
