- a person or thing that expounds, explains, or interprets: an exponent of modern theory in the arts.
- a person or thing that is a representative, advocate, or symbol of something: Lincoln is an exponent of American democracy.
- a symbol or number that shows how many times another number is to be multiplied by itself: The exponents of the quantities xn, 2m, y4, and 35 are, respectively, n, m, 4, and 5.
Over the past 70 years, the number of people in Australia identifying as Christians has been on a steady decline. The statistics reveal a brutal truth – the church is failing in its task to make disciples. This series will seek to help us in the calling we have to not only proclaim and represent Christ in our culture, but also to multiply ourselves so that His Kingdom expands and people find hope in His name. Join us as we endeavour to be better exponents of Christ in this world.
